The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT)

If you love fashion check out the exhibitions at The Fashion Institute of Technology. There is no admission charge and currently on display you will get to see Fabric in Fashion as well as an overview of a mix of exhibitions through the years. The Museum at FIT has organized over 200 exhibitions since the 1970s.

Elton John In Concert

Elton John is performing in New York this week and there might be tickets available still, tickets range in prices and are available through ticketmaster.com He plans to take the  audience on a massive visual journey spanning his entire 50-year career.

Andy Warhol at the Whitney Museum from A – B and Back Again

This exhibition—the first Warhol retrospective organized by a U.S. institution since 1989—reconsiders the work of one of the most inventive, influential, and important American artists.

Frida Kahlo at The Brooklyn Museum

Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving is the largest U.S. exhibition in ten years devoted to the iconic painter and the first in the United States to display a collection of her clothing and other personal possessions.

Art on Paper

You can visit The Armory show which is one of the biggest international art fairs.

Game of Thrones thematic tour at The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Adventure tour group Fable and Lark will organize  "Crown and Prophet: An Epic Fantasy Adventure" in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which brings you up close to works sharing thematic resonance with Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings and other beloved high fantasy sagas.

 

  • The (unofficial, unauthorized) tour starts March 1, and runs Tuesdays at 11am and Fridays at 5:45pm.
